Palmarosa

Palmarosa essential oil has a distinct aroma with sweet and floral notes. Native to Southeast Asia, Palmarosa comes from the same grass family as Lemongrass and Citronella. It can grow up to 3 metres high before harvesting, after which it is dried and distilled to produce essential oil. This essential oil contains a high percentage of geraniol, which is one of the same primary aromatic components as in Rose essential oil. Due to its ability to promote youthful skin, Palmarosa is often used in cosmetics.
